Fresh Mint Tea

  • 10-12 sprigs fresh mint (any variety)
  • 4 cups water
  1. Bring water to a boil and remove from heat.
  2. Pat the leaves between your thumb to bruise slightly and place leaves in a teapot or french press.
  3. Pour hot water and allow to steep 4-5 minutes.
  4. Serve warm or room temperature.
You can also place mint leaves in individual cups, as in the video. Leaves not submerged in water may brown a bit, though.
